wizards and leopards and flamingos, oh my!

Here they are: Harry Potter and Charlie Leopard, begging candy from my mother-in-law.

And, for no good reason except that it made me laugh, here is a funny picture that Wade drew, at Charlie's request. It's a crocodile and a flamingo, sharing a hamburger with pickles and fries with catchup. Charlie was adamant about the pickles and the catchup.

That is all.

Happy Halloween!

I am very impressed with Wade's artwork! I could never draw on demand like that.

We were trick-or-treating in the rain, pouring down rain. I hope your weather was more Halloween friendly.

It's a good thing those little dudes weren't in my neighborhood last night. I would have emptied the entire contents of my candy bowl into their tiny jack o'lanterns.

And the croc's eyes melt my heart.

Hausfrau, the irony is that the leopard costume basically IS a sweatsuit. Which is probably why he was so willing to wear it.

And Crayonz, *I* could use some candy about now. Can I come by this afternoon with my pumpkin bucket?

I posted a witty and wonderfully funny comment earlier, but it appears that Blogger ate it.

Damn.

Love the costumes and the artwork. My husband can draw on demand, too. No wonder why dads are so cool.

I won't quibble with Wade's artistic abilities. Clearly, he is a renaissance man.

However, that crocodile clearly is not sharing the burger. The flamingo is going hungry--and keeping a svelte figure!
