in which I substitute cuteness for content
I am too tired and sunburnt to put together any sort of coherent post, but look! I have pictures! Here are Henry and Charlie in their Floppy Bunny Ears!

This face involved actual yelling. At 7:40 this morning. See why I'm tired?
Henry had speech therapy today, which made me think of the zoo (imagine that) so off we went! To the zoo! We saw the elephants taking a bath; Charlie stood at the fence calling, "Hello ellie-phant! Hello!" and waving. We saw the baby rhino and the baby gorilla and Henry pointed out that the rhino's skin looked like armor and the gorillas' feet look JUST LIKE OURS! Go figure. We rode the tram and, best of all, we played at the fabulous playground, which is the whole reason I have a zoo membership in the first place. But of course all I have pictures of are the life-size animal statues. Oh well.
I'm exhausted from speech therapy, three hours at the zoo, and soccer practice, so this is all you're getting. You're welcome.

We went to the zoo today too!!! However, there are no sunburns, just tired feet.
It's official--I am a lazy-ass. But I get tired just THINKING about going to the zoo. So we don't go.
This is quite a lot of work for one so tired!
I took Baby to the zoo on Tuesday! We must be psychically linked. And we had a blast. And we spent most of our time in the toddler play area with her friends and on the carousel, but whatever. She loved the monkeys- we had to go back three times.

Lucinda, Henry does have a certain Ralphie quality to him. Right after he got his glasses, we taught him to say, "You'll SHOOT your EYE out!" which was really funny for a while.
Because what's the point of having kids if you can't dress them up and make them entertain you?

I'm all about training the children to say funny things for my own amusement. And at least it's warm enough for the boys not to have to wear coats at the zoo. It looks like it was a fun trip for them, so you have done your motherly duty.
GOD your boys are SO. DAMN.CUTE. that I can hardly stand it. Sunburnt? How did you manage that? It's f-ing freezing here in NY.
As far as 7:40 am yelling? I have no sympathy for you there...I had 6:30 am DRUMS complete with CYMBALS when I was HUNGOVER and had not yet had coffee. Take that!
I once took my niece, then just shy of two, to the zoo. Every animal her height or smaller was "kitty!! kitty!!", every animal larger than that was "goggie!goggie!!"
Except the gorilla. The big, knuckle-dragging silverback male was "DADDY!!"
The niece is now 22. But the story lives forever. Doesn't help that the BIL is tall, dark, and solid, with unusually long arms...
Can't believe you caught Charlie being still! Both are VERY cute bunnies.
When you're looking to have another kid, let me know. I'd like to apply for the job.

I can't believe how much Henry looks like you with his new glasses! Your boys are adorable as always. I guess I luck out in that our OT comes to the house for therapy. The zoo is exhausting and we always seem to go unknowingly on the free giveaway days with a zillion other people.
I think Wedneday was National Zoo Day or something -- our au piar took our little guy to the SF zoo, and Wood and Juniper from Sweet Juniper were there, too.
(Oh, no -- what if this is evidence the government is testing some kind of thought wave manipulation program???)
