mmmmm, Minti
Recently, the fantastic folks at Minti gave away two tickets to BlogHer. Sadly, I did not win (although they picked two wonderful women to go). But! Even though they're not sending me to Blogher, they did come through with schwag! For me AND the kids!
Who knew you would see my boobs again so soon? The back says POWERED BY PARENTS. I love that.
AND a bag! I'm all about the bag, if only because now I feel like I really NEED some shoes to go with it.
(There were Ts for the boys as well, but they refused to put them on and let me take their picture. I think they're still tired from yesterday. Or they're just horrible uncooperative children. Whatever.)
Minti is a parenting advice site; it is a lovely community of kind, supportive people. If you've not been there, check it out. It's an Aussie site, which makes it all the more fun, as you have to decode what a "flannel" is, or why the baby is wearing a "singlet" (I know both of those, by the way). And of course, while I am whining about the heat here, my Aussie peers are looking at the start of winter. Lucky bastards.

May I just say - I have shoes to match that bag. Along with shirts, pants, socks, hairties, oh the list could go on and on. Why? Because green and gold are my baseball team's colours! I'll have to check out Minti, I've never heard of them before. And guessing games on sites from other countries are fun!
As previously mentioned, boobs=comment. However, I think you would have been a stellar choice for BlogHer. I hope the shirt and bag (very smart and sophisticated, I might add...would fit in well with hipsters in NY) are ample compensation.
I never heard of minti either. How did you find this site?
Love Aussies. Love that country, love Quantas airlines, love the way they "cutesify" so many words ("barbie" for BBQ, etc.), everything. Only been once, and can't wait to go back.
Andie, I found the Minti folks through the nice ladies at Mommy Bloggers, who also had a BlogHer ticket giveaway (and are sending the FABULOUS Kathryn to BlogHer)--they sent my application on to Minti, who sent me goodies!
And Tony, I will contine to talk about my boobs soley to compell you to comment.

And a bag like that deserves more than one pair of shoes, don't you think? And a hat. A hat is a MUST with a bag like that. Something big and floppy and sophisticatedly campy, don't you think? :)
